Yesterday was my son's 3rd birthday. I'm so happy to see him grow up and it's amazing to watch him learn new things but it's sad at the same time. My little man is not my "little" man anymore. Now he's just, my son.
I decided when I first had him I wanted to do everything I could to be the "cool mom". I wanted to start a birthday tradition of giving my kids a little cupcake for breakfast on their birthdays. I don't normally spoil them with candy or treats so this, I thought, would be my way of easing up on them on their special days. Besides how many of us can remember having our birthday special as kids from the time we woke up till the time we went to bed? I can't! We always get parties as a kid but that rarely falls ON their birthday. I wanted to make their birthDAY special! Bad idea with a 3 yr old. Bad bad bad. Don't give your small child a load of sugar first thing in the morning.
I must admit though, it was adorable to see his face light up with joy when he walked into the dining room and saw a cupcake with a candle waiting for him at the table. He was so excited that he took off running to it, jumped up in the chair and blew it out before we could even sing to him. :) My not-so-little man.
Welcome to my escape. A place where I can relax, unwind and talk about the things I love most: my family, my life and SCENTSY!

Welcome to my new blog!
After seeing several of my friends with blogs I've decided to make one. I actually used to love this feature on MySpace, but who past the age of about 15 uses that anymore? Of course, I upgraded to FaceBook and with that came the adult version of social media, which lacked blogging.
Anyone that knows me knows I am a very proud Scentsy Consultant. As such, yes I will talk about my Scentsy addiction here. But this blog will also allow me to get things off my chest in a way a small FB status update can't.
Hope you enjoy the blog! Wish me luck on figuring it all out! :)
